Hosting

Managed hosting chosen for your stack rather than our margin — configured properly, monitored, backed up, and with a clear answer to who is responsible when something goes wrong.

The platform should match the application

A static marketing site belongs on a CDN and costs almost nothing to run. A WordPress site wants a host that understands PHP, object caching and staging. A containerised application wants a managed container service. Putting all three on the same generic VPS is how people end up with a slow site and a large bill.

Configured, not just provisioned

Provisioning a server takes minutes. Making it fast and safe takes the rest of the day: HTTP/3, compression, cache headers, TLS configuration, security headers, firewall rules, automated certificate renewal, log rotation, and backups that have actually been restored once to prove they work.

What the engagement includes

  • Platform selection

Matched to your stack, traffic and compliance needs.

  • Configuration

Caching, compression, TLS, HTTP/3 and security headers.

  • Staging

A real staging environment, not a copy on someone's laptop.

  • Backups

    Off-site, automated, tested.

  • Monitoring

Uptime, certificates, disk, and alerting that reaches a person.

Moved with a redirect map and no ranking loss.

Frequently asked questions

Do we have to host with you?

No, and often you should not. If you have a host that works we will configure and maintain it there. We offer managed hosting because a lot of clients would rather one party be accountable for both the site and the server.

Can you move our site without downtime?

Yes. We stage the new environment, verify it fully, lower DNS TTL in advance and cut over during a quiet window. Visitors see continuity; the old environment stays available until we are certain.

Is your hosting suitable for clients in the EU?

Yes — we can place infrastructure in EU regions where data residency is required, and configure the site so analytics and forms comply with GDPR.

What about SSL certificates?

Issued and renewed automatically, with expiry monitoring as a backstop. An expired certificate is an avoidable outage.
